What to check if a registrant is stuck in registration?

While system errors can occur, there are many non-system-related reasons to explain someone stuck in registration. Please kindly verify those first, if none of those is applicable, feel free to contact our support team for further assistance.

Here is the list of things to check when someone is stuck in registration:
  • Are they eligible based on their age or gender (if not, they would not see the proper registration options): You can check the age/gender restrictions from your configuration tab -> registration categories sub-tab 
  • Is the registration category capacity full? You can check that in Metrics tab -> Registration Breakdown sub-tab. Per category capacities can be adjusted from your configuration tab -> registration categories sub-tab 
  • Is the total event capacity full? You can compare the event max cap setup in the Registration Categories sub-tab -> Overall Setup section to the total of complete registration on the dashboard home tab
  • Do they already have the exact type of membership acceptable for the registration process? (if not, they will be prompted to purchase a new one with the proper type): You can compare the list of acceptable membership setup in the configuration tab -> registration rules sub-tab w/ the member's profile (as a PTSO admin, as a non-PTSO admin, you may need to request assistance from your PTSO admin or our support team to verify that)

Reminder:  there is no hierarchy between the memberships, so you need to list ALL ACCEPTABLE memberships in your membership rules setups.

  • If they have the proper acceptable membership and are still being prompt to buy a new one, are they using the proper user account (especially with kids, when multiple parents are registering them, duplicate profiles are not uncommon)
