Diving Clubs - Annual H2Oreg Club Dashboard Setup

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW 

  1. H2Oreg is DPC online membership platform. H2Oreg is powered by Interpodia, an online  technology and solutions provider that has been working with sports organizations since 2019. Interpodia is headquartered in Vancouver, BC.
  2. Interpodia is a PCI compliant merchant and works with PaySafe. A PaySafe account is required to process credit card payments in H2Oreg.
  3. Each organization using H2Oreg can collect information from registrants and use the information within the parameters of privacy law. Interpodia’s privacy policy can be consulted here. All data collected is stored by AWS in Montreal, Quebec.
  4.  H2Oreg works best when participants register themselves, therefore, it is strongly recommended to keep the use of bulk uploads and administrator registrations available for exceptional circumstance and will need to be approved by DPC and the PSO in advance.

Clubs can contact their PSO for information on H2Oreg training / Q&A sessions for the upcoming season. Clubs are strongly encouraged to set up their next season dashboard before the end of June


Configuration Options (A or B)

A configuration option refers to the way clubs will use the H2Oreg system for members registration (memberships, club programs) and payment (credit card via PaySafe, Payment Group).
There are two (2) main configuration options available within H2Oreg, and a club must select one (1) configuration option each season:

What does a registrant purchase in H2Oreg? Each participant registers in H2Oreg for:
▪ DPC membership
▪ PSO membership
▪ Club program

Are any processing fees charted to the club? Yes, processing fees apply to the club level fees. The applicable fees are available here.  No
What payment methods are available to the purchaser?

▪ Participant pays by credit card via H2Oreg.
▪ DPC membership fees, PSO membership fees, and club program fees are deposited into each organization’s respective banking
account. 

What if our club needs a payment group to accept some offline payment?

Payment Groups are available to manage special needs (eg: club chooses to absorb membership fees for officials/coaches). Learn more about payment group here.

Portal Setup Steps

1- Submit your Setup Form

Once your club has selected a configuration option, complete and submit the applicable configuration request form:


Once the form is submitted, please allow 5 to 10 business days to receive your draft portal from Interpodia. 

2- Setup a Payment Processing Account (if applicable)

This step only applies to clubs choosing Configuration Option A for the first time. 

To receive credit card payment deposits, a club must set up and maintain a 3rd party payment processing account with PaySafe. The account must be set up and approved before your club can start processing online payment in H2Oreg. 

3- Review and Edit 

Once your draft dashboard is ready for review and testing, the Interpodia team will notify your club by email. Your club is responsible for reviewing and editing its configuration to match your upcoming season needs.

4- Test Registrations

Important!
All clubs are strongly advised to execute test registrations before opening registration to the public. When executing test registrations:

  • Always ensure your cart is empty
  • Do not click the ‘Submit and Complete’ button. If you accidentally click the ‘Submit and Complete’ button, ensure all test registrations are deleted by Interpodia before the portal goes ‘live’. 

5- Submit for Review

Once you are satisfied with the configuration of your club portal, click on the green Submit for Review button at the top-right corner of the dashboard. Interpodia will then review your club portal and send you a confirmation email when your club portal is “live” (within 2-5 business days).
If the green Submit for Review button is not visible within your club dashboard, send an email to
info@interpodia.com requesting your club portal go ‘live’. 


Fee Structure

ONLINE REGISTRATION FEES

For payments made by credit card online. 

Payment Processing Fee: 2.9% + $0.40 -  per transaction  (plus applicable sales tax)

Interpodia System Fee: 1% + $0.60 - per registration (plus applicable sales tax)
TOTAL: 3.9% + $0.40 -  per transaction + $0.60 - per registration  (plus applicable sales tax)

OFFLINE REGISTRATION FEES

For payments made by cash, cheque, or EFT, and tracked using a club fee payment group

1% + $0.60 - per registration (plus applicable sales tax)
